Energy Consumption

This week’s episode gives our listeners some perspective on how much of the energy we consume is dependent on non-renewable resources like coal and oil.  Did you know that in 2004, 71% of our energy usage came from fossil fuels and that in 2008 that percentage went up to 85%?  That means that we increasing our dependence on these dwindling resources instead of utilizing greener renewable resources.  Tune in for more information.

Recycling in Schools

Deepwood Recycling Center
